Rajakeeya Shilpa Yathra 2017 launched

Old Royalists Association Piliyandala, known as ORAP has launched its Rajakeeya Shilpa Yathra for 5th consecutive year. Inauguration ceremony was held last week at Pilyandala amidst distinguished gathering. Secretary Mr. Mahesh Ariyaratne presented the token of inauguration to incumbent President Mr Chandima Athukorla.

‘Rajakeya Shilpa Yathra’ a science seminar program to be held on 29 October 2017 at Kesbewa Municipal council Auditorium. This year too 450 students from Piliyandala Educational Zone will be expected participate and bolster their science knowledge for G C E O/L examination for 2017.

Mr Harshana Adikary, a Organizing committee member informed that similar to previous years invitation will be sent to schools and expected to provide more facilities to participants with the assistance from corporate sponsors. He also noted that that ORAP felt that being a premier school in the country it is their duty to share the knowledge among our neighbourhood.
