Due to the exponential growth in PTE-A (Pearson Test of English – Academic) test takers in the region and the high demand for more trainers to be certified, Pearson conducted a 2 day training and workshop for trainers of English language in Colombo. By the end of the workshop, 25 English language trainers from ACBT, Aspirations Education, Business Management School - BMS, Edlocate, ESOFT, Gateway Language Centre, Human Resource Management Institute - HRMI, Knowledge Merchandising and International Institute of Mystical Rose were certified as trainers of PTE-A.
