"Smile thus last forever" Congress in Cosmetic Dentistry

Vice Chancellor ( VC)University of Peradeniya (UoP), Prof. Upul B. Dissnayake, addressing the Asian Regional Aesthetic Dental Congress ( ARADC) - 2017, as its Chief Guest, said that, organising the ARADC was to share and update new knowledge, which should be used to fill the gap between the demand of the patient and the last treatment modalities ava i l able in Cosmetic Dentistry.

President- Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, Dr. Ronnie Yap was the Guest of Honour, while President- Global Academy of Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry Dr. Susil Koiala and Pro f. R. L. Wijeweera were Special Guests.

The theme of the Congress was "Smile thus last forever". Nearly 150 local and internatio­nal Dental profession­als from Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Thailand Bangladesh, India, Taiwan, Philippine­s and Nepal participat­ed.

Prof. Upul B. Dissanayak­e thanked Dr. V. Vijayakuma­ran and President- Sri Lanka Academy of Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Ratnakumar­a Dissanayak­e for organising this type of internatio­nal congress.
