Russian Government Medical Universities Admission 2017/18

-

The Russian universities are highly benefited by this backdrop, as they provide shelter to an impressive number of international students with the conducive environment for various disciplines such as engineering and business management in addition to medicine. Most universities organise supervisory programmes for the first-year students so that they get familiar with an unfamiliar territory.

Acclimatisation is no strange phenomenon in Russian universities. The admin- istrators as well as instructors are well trained in handling the newly-enrolled students who in turn do not feel estranged, or alienated, at the University premises.

The first year at the university is mostly allocated for the purpose of acclimatisation. The student gradually masters the local language. With the communication barrier slowly lifted, the students will find it easy to get along with the local communities.

Interestingly the medical students can take part in various cultural programmes as well. They can access the university libraries where they would come across the literary greats such as Leo Tolstoy, Nikolai Rerikh, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Boris Pasternak of Doctor Zhivago fame. Now that is another field where Russia continues to excel: culture. Whatever you name in the name of culture, be it ballet, painting, theatre, literature or cinema, Russia’s emblem is unique. The medical students can use spare time to visit painting exhibitions, theatre or any other local festival to relax enlighteningly.

In such outings, the Sri Lankan stu- dents will get a rare opportunity to get along with the local crowd in addition to Russian and other international students they encounter within the campus.

Once your stay in Russia comes to an end, you return to your motherland not simply with a degree of medicine but also with a bag full of enchanting memories. It will not be a surprising factor if they feel homesick to leave Russia back to the homeland. Once you set foot there, the country has such a charm which enamours any tourist.

That is where Russia’s real worth as a unique study destination comes up. And that is exactly why Russia is a worthy destination for medical studies.
