VEERASINGHAM SATHIANANTHAN of Urumpirai, Jaffna ( Retired Assistant Director of Agriculture) passed away peacefully on Sunday 27th August 2017 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Dr. ( CV and Mrs. Verasingham and his beloved wife Mrs. Wigneswary Sathiananthan. He will be sadly missed by his loving children, Dr. Usha Singanayagam and Prof. Sathi Sukumar and son and daughter- in- law Dr. Jeyakumar and Dr. Pathmajani, respectively. He was the treasured grandfather of Varshini, Krishni, Nimalesh, Sivesh and Priyani, grandfather-in-law of Niruban and Kushendra and dearly cherished great grandfather of Soraya and Kalesh, brother of Paramananthan and Yogeswary and late Maheswary, Sivananthan and Puleswary.
