NCHS Fresher’s Night 2017

Where they walked in as strangers and walked out as friends

-

Starting university can be stressful. Having left the comfortable cocoon of school, you are exposed to a new environment. You will meet new people, make new friends. You might be excited, you might be nervous – more than likely you’ll be a mix of both - however; the main thing is not to panic and to remember that everyone at NCHS knows exactly how you feel. They understand and will make you feel right at home.

NCHS Fresher’s Night 2017

The 31st of August was a memorable day in the life of every Fresher at the Nawaloka College of Higher Studies (NCHS). All fresher’s gathered together at the Ball room of the Mount Royal Hotel (Berjaya) in Mount Lavinia and spent a joyous night getting to know each other at the annual Fresher’s night.

The Fresher’s night was a night filled with talent, music, excitement and enthusiasm. Organized by the dynamic student council of NCHS, the event was filled with games, competitions and good food!

The highlight of the Fresher’s Party was the awarding of the prestigious title of Mr. & Ms. Fresher. The 2017 titles were won by Indula Amaraweera and shehani Wijesinghe.

The students walked in as strangers. They did not know what to expect. However, at the end of the event, the fresher’s were fresher’s no more. They were friends.
