ABEYESUNDERE, WENDY ( nee Wijesinghe) - Wife of late Manohar Abeyesundere, loving mother of Sarita and Sarosh, mother-in-law of Michael, grandmother of Lennon and Linden, passed away peacefully on 6th September in Canada. STM -638713.

CARMEN SIDDIQUE ( nee Silva) - Beloved wife of late Hussain, daughter of late Walter and late Ida Silva, sister of late Loretta and Myrna passed away on 16th July 2017 and was cremated in accordance with her wishes. Family wishes to thank all who attended the funeral, sent condolences and offered prayers and support. STM 638879.

RAUFF- HAJARA, daughter of late Uthuma Lebbe Aalim Sahib and late Z u l a i f a Umma of Hapugasthalawa, and wife of late N.M.A Rauff, (retired Principal) has passed away. Inna lillhiwainnailahirajioon. She is the dearly beloved mother of Dr Hafeez, Hazeer, Rauff Hakeem M. P., Hasaan and Hazaar and the mother- in- law of Rehana, Fathima, Shanasz, Shamila and Shiyama. Janaza left the residence at 20/ 1, Alfred Place, Colombo 3, burial took place at Jawatta Jumma Mosque burial grounds, Colombo 7, on Saturday at 10.30 a. m. May she attain Jennathul-firdhouse.

WIJESIRIWARDANE, STELLA - Wife of late David Wijesiriwardane (Founder Bake House Ltd, Colombo 10), beloved mother of Harsha, Pradeep, Omila & Pranitha, mother in law of Upali, Senani, Penny & Asanka, loving grandmother of Melanie, Sheehan, Lilan, Yohan, Maneesha, Desmond, Marvan, Devin, Dimitri & Dinouk, much adored great grandmother of Eleesha and Amelie. Son-in-law of late Muhandiram Walwin and Edna Perera. Brother- in- law of Shirani, late Lester Perera, late Damascene Perera, Corinne Perera and Nalini Perera. Remains will lie at 30/35 L, De Silva Cross Road, off de Silva Road Kalubowila, Dehiwela from 3.00 p.m. on Monday September 25th 2017. Cortege leaves residence at 3.15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26th 2017 for a service at St. Lawrence’s Church Wellawatte. Burial at the General Cemetery, Borella (Roman Catholic Section) at 4.30 pm.
