Wisdom to commence the 11th intake of BSc Accounting degree
Triumphantly accomplishing 15 years of supreme academic excellence and unparalleled quality, Wisdom Business Academy has surpassed all boundaries of Sri Lankan Higher Education in both professional and academic qualifications. Through continuous attempts to introduce diverse pathways for its students to achieve success in the fields of Accountancy, Finance and Business Management, Wisdom together with its Academic Partner – Robert Gordon University (UK) has initiated the 11th intake for the BSc Accounting degree program. While the call is extended exclusively towards CIMA students to join the 100 odd domestic alumni of Robert Gordon University, it was our strong belief that certain facts about this globally renowned degree program should be revealed.
The top-up degree program offered by RGU in collaboration with Wisdom is exclusively for CIMA students. As per international academic protocols the Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA Management Level) is recognized as equivalent to University second year (NVQ level 5) qualification, hence CIMA Management level completed students are awarded with 240 credits through which they are made eligible to enter the Final year of the BSc Accounting degree program awarded by RGU. However, Wisdom is presenting an option where you could initiate your academic practices with regard to the degree programs after the completion of CERT BA examinations (CIMA Foundation level) on a conditional offer. The degree and its academic practices have been structured in such a manner that both the academic qualification of BSc in Accounting and the professional qualification CIMA can be done simultaneously allowing the candidate to be a fully decorated professional in two years with the titles of BSc Accounting, CGMA and ACMA.
