Altair and SLT Redefine Luxury Living with 100Mbps Fiber Broadband and Smart Services

Sri Lanka Telecom PLC and Indocean Developers ( Pvt) Limited recently entered into an agreement that will redefine the experience of luxury living. Through this agreement SLT’s high speed broadband services up to the speed of 100Mbps and high definition television content through its IPTV platform will be provided over Optical Fibre to all residents of this landmark property. Further SLT will establish Wi- Fi access in common areas and all residentia­l apartment through its tailor made solution with an array of smart applicatio­ns which can be subscribed through a self service web portal and mobile applicatio­ns on smart devices and phones. SLT will develop the fiber network up to and within the building to each and every apartment to enable the above services with highest availabili­ty, performanc­e and quality of services.

Speaking on behalf of the developer Chelvedura­i Harendran the Director of Projects said that “The iconic Altair is designed and built for luxury living. We have taken every initiative to bring in world class partners into to this project. In this regard Sri Lanka Telecom will have a key role to play in creating a digital environmen­t suited for the aspiration­al lifestyle that is sought by our clientele”.

In his comments the Group CEO of SLT Dileepa Wijesunder­a mentioned that the name Altair is used to refer to the brightest star in the constellat­ion Aquilla. “We are proud to have been invited by Indocean Developers to contribute our expertise and services that will redefine luxury, making Altair a standout p ro p e r t y Colombo”.
