SLT golf on Oct 28
The second consecutive SLT Metro Par 3 Golf Classic will tee off at the Royal Colombo Golf Club on October 28 at 7.30 a.m. This annual golfing event sponsored by Sri Lanka Telecom is sponsored in aid of supporting multiple community development projects monitored and managed by the Rotary Club of Sri Lanka Metropolitan. This all day Golf event is to raise funds for children's charities such as to build a Child Friendly Police Station at Ragama, the Lama Piyasa facility for the treatment of abused and neglected children at the Ragama Rehabilitation Hospital, Sunshine Game, a sports carnival for over a 1000 differently able children and to help the minor children of caddies.
The Gold sponsor for the day will be Colombo City Center while the Silver sponsors are Prestige Automobile, the authorised dealer of BMW cars and Favourite Group.
SLT Rotary Metro Par 3 Golf Classic is set to be a memorable day of top quality golf at the links of Royal Colombo Golf Club. The morning tee times are from 7.30 a.m. and the afternoon tee time is 1.30 p.m. The only Par 3 tournament is a popular event amongst club members and said to be a fun atmosphere with much entertainment, which will be followed by the award ceremony in the evening.
