Walkers CML Properties unveils “Grace” in Nugegoda

Walkers CML Properties (Pvt) Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of MTD Walkers PLC, recently unveiled its latest upper middle income housing project “Grace” at Nugegoda.

Centrally located with convenienc­e in mind, ‘Grace’ is in close proximity to the heart of Nugegoda, a highly residentia­l area offering all convenienc­es including banks, hospitals, shopping malls and sports and leisure clubs, a media release said. It is a modern apartment complex planned and designed to supplement and add convenienc­e to the lifestyle of modern families and offers larger floor spaces in an effort to change the notion of apartment living from a temporary measure to a more permanent option, it added.

“As always, our projects are designed with resident requiremen­ts in mind, and we have had a positive response from our customers with 20 percent apartments sold during the l aunch week,” Lalinda Kalubowila, Chief Executive Officer of Walkers CML Properties was quoted in the release as saying. He had further added, “we want to make apartment living work as a long term housing option and to be in tandem with the needs of modern families.”

Grace comprises 77 apartments in two bedroom and three bedroom variants ranging from 968 Sq. ft to 1635 Sq. ft designed over a property span- ning 82 perches.

“We are pleased with the progress made by the real estate sector of the group and hope to see a growing contributi­on to revenue and profits from this sector,” Viraj De Silva , President – Engineerin­g Services and Infrastruc­ture Cluster of MTD Walkers PLC said. He added that the group’s strategy is to enhance the property developmen­t capabiliti­es to cater to the growing demand for upper middle income housing.
