The October intake of the Swinburne Foundation program at the Nawaloka College of Higher Studies was amongst the most successful and saw many young ladies and gentlemen of great potential enter the chapter of tertiary education.

The orientatio­n program was held on the 6th of October, 2017. The guest speaker at the event was Mr. Paul S e s t a ( M a n a g e r, Science Engineerin­g and Technology Foundation & Pathways SUT)

Mr. Sesta spoke about life in Melbourne and gave the students tips to succeed in their education as well as in their new life.

Dr. Alan Robertson, Dean of Studies, NCHS inaugurate­d the event by welcoming the students and thereafter introducin­g the campus facilities, resources and staff. He elaborated on the role of NCHS in the current educationa­l arena.

“NCHS is providing a high quality product. A well reputed Australian university is offering their programmes directly in Sri Lanka. Through this, the students are getting the latest in Educationa­l Methodolog­y” he stated.
