Oxford Sharks emerge champs at OCB Alumni Super Sixes Cricket Carnival

Oxford College of Business (OCB) together with its Alumni organised the annual OCB Alumni Super 6s Cricket Carnival. The tournament brought together over 300 past and present undergraduate and postgraduate students for this one of a kind cricket extravaganza. In a riveting contest at the Havelocks Ground on September 9 in Colombo, featured a closely fought final, where the Oxford Sharks emerged as the winners.

The main feature of this year’s tournament was that each team comprised of five males and a female. The tournament featured some of the best cricketers from the country’s corporate world.

The tournament brought together 16 teams which were formed with past and present students of Oxford College of Business who competed against each other for bragging rights to feature in the allimportant final for the Cargills Magic Challenge Trophy 2017.

Cargills Magic was the main sponsor of the tournament for the second consecutive year with Mano Rajapaksa being chief guest at this years tournament.
