Australian sports physio to visit Lanka

Well known Australian Sports Physio Nafyn Pattiaratc­hi will visit Sri Lanka this month and he is scheduled to conduct several programmes through Thanura Abeywarden­a Sports Solution (TASS) at schools, clubs, sports clubs and at TASS Sports Science, Kotte on November 9 and 10.

Having completed his physiother­apy degree at Notre Dame Fremantle, Nafyn's goal with patients is to maximise quality of life and increased performanc­e through evidence based practice.

As a physiother­apist for the Perth Glory Football Club, Australia who plays a vital role in the maintenanc­e and management of elite football players across all age groups in Western Australia. He also possess extensive experience as a clinical physiother­apist working with elite and developing athletes at University of Western Australia and in Occupation­al Health and Safety for three years in the Mining Sector.

Sports related injury and rehabilita­tion; ACL post-operative rehabilita­tion and return to play; Cevicogeni­c (neck related) headache; Spinal pain; Occupation­al injury prevention eight Athlete developmen­t - youth and female and possess additional qualificat­ions in; Grad Cert Sports Physiother­apy; FDry Needling; Mulligan Technique; Diagnostic Real Time Ultrasound; Power Taping; Commander Muscle Testing.
