-

The International Association of Coaching Sri Lanka chapter will play host to a conference titled “Coaching in the Cyber Physical World” conducted by the International Association of Coaching ( IAC) on December 4- 5 at the Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo.

This event is the first global conference conducted by the IAC in which over 100 delegates from 53 countries, are due to participate, according to a media release from IAC’s Sri Lanka chapter.

The IAC international mission is “to expand the path to coaching mastery by inspiring the on-going evolution and application of universal coaching standards. With a focus on the improvement of the coaching profession overall, and is not on the performance of particular services for individuals”.

Commenting on the conference, Krishna Kumar, IAC President stated “We are glad that the IAC Sri Lanka chapter has stepped forward to be the organisers of the first global coaching conference. We expect Sri Lankan coaches to join the coaching fraternity to expand the path to coaching mastery along with many international coaches”.

The release said the programme is expected to dare the audience on the lines of “Can coaches remain com- placent that the cyber-physical world will have little or no impact on our way of coaching?” or “if we were to embrace these new technologies could we use them to improve our mastery of coaching?” These are some of the challenges that would be the focal point of the conference.

The IAC – Sri Lanka chapter, is an independent, professional association of coaches dedicated to the ongoing pursuit of coaching mastery.
