Ford customers will be able to get their vehicles serviced in 45 minutes from the Ford Quick-Lane Service launched recently at the Ford Centre in Battaramulla by Future Automobiles (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings PLC, the company disclosed in a media release.

This Centre consists of two additional service bays to provide vehicle service to Ford customers thereby minimising the time they have to spend from their busy schedules when getting their vehicles serviced, the release quoted the CEO of the company Chamath Tennekoon as saying.

The main Ford workshop at Battaramulla will continue to operate at full capacity with a renewed emphasis on general repairs, he revealed.

Elaborating on the Quick-Lane Service, Mr. Tennekoon noted that “With Ford’s footprint in the Sri Lankan market rapidly increasing, there is naturally an increase in the number of vehicles that come in for regular service. Therefore, the company has decided to provide the best service delivery standards to customers ensuring that those who come for regular services get an efficient service resulting in quick turnaround”.

The Ford showroom in Sri Lanka currently includes the nameplates Fiesta (Sedan Car), the Kuga (SUV), Eco Sport (SUV) and Everest (7-Seat SUV) as well as the Ranger Double Cab.
