-

Two Lankans who pioneered a company that connects international students to Service Providers in Australia, recently with their Mobile App in Colombo.

Potensure Pty Ltd (PPL) CEO Vishvajith Wijesinghe who started the venture with PPL Managing Director Anuja Fernando, went to Australia as students and, based on their experiences, set up PPL, which guides prospective students how best to adjust to life in Australia, once they go there for their studies.

Vishvajith said that Sri Lankan students who go to Australia for studies, mostly depend on ad hoc information, to adjust to life there but, with the guidance provided by Potensure, they can smoothly integrate into the new environment.

“From our experiences we realised there are many new things we have to learn while new there. Be it accommodation, dining out or banking transactions, there are many things to learn,” he said.

Vishvajith said that Potensure recently held an Information Day and the Mobile App Launch Event in Colombo, which was attended by leading Education agents in Sri Lanka, including the likes of Jeewa Education, Aspirations Education, 3WGE, UCL, Spectrum, ICBT, ANC, NCHS, ISES and other distinguished guests.

With the launch of the Potensure Mobile App, Lankan students can access their essential services through PPL, which is a registered company in Australia.

Potensure connects international students with service providers in Australia for essential services such as accommodation, mobile phones and packages, airport pickup, part-time jobs, air-tickets, vehicles, tax and banking services and many more, with a touch of a button. Basic information is provided free of charge, while a “total care package” requires a payment.

Students in need of such services can visit the PPL Website www. potensure. com.au and sign up for free student accounts.
