Sri Lanka, but in the entire world. Despite the meters in tuks, passengers cannot be assured that the rate they set is uniform. One of the rationales for issuing the receipt is to protect customer identity and privacy, as most hailing apps on hail rides request for passenger’s mobile number in order to send the receipt via sms, but with TG.1 Smart Meter this is not the case as it prints a receipt at the end of the trip so there is no need for a sms,” commented Mr Hanif M.
