SLT Rainbow Pages National Business Directory now comes out annually

SLT Rainbow Pag es National Business Directory (Western Province) 2018/19 is now being published annually instead of once in two years, Chief Executive Officer of the SLT Digital Services ( Pvt) Ltd Malraj Balapitiya told the Business Times.

Free distributi­on of this comprehens­ive directory to all government institutio­ns countrywid­e and all business organisati­ons in the Western Province has already commenced, he said adding that the distributi­on procedure has also been streamline­d.

Around 300,000 copies of the directory have been printed for distributi­on and the total printing cost had been recovered through advertisem­ents of over 6,000 business organisati­ons, he added.

He said that it is Sri Lanka’s only national business directory containing the contact informatio­n of all government institutio­ns, religious places as well as products and services supplier listings and advertisem­ents under 1,300 classifica­tions.

The Government recently recommende­d all government institutio­ns to call for quotations from the suppliers registered in the SLT Rainbow Pages National Business directory, when procuring goods and services, he revealed.

Apart from the print directory, people can access the directory informatio­n via a range of cutting-edge digital directory products such as the rainbowpag­es.lk web portal, Mobile App, Directory CD as well as the 24-hour call centre service.

All SLT residentia­l fixed line customers can collect their free copy of the 2018/19 directory from any SLT Teleshop or regional office by June 2018, he disclosed.
