ANC Career Fair and Networking Evening 2018 was brought to a successful conclusion at the Kingsbury Hotel yesterday and well-received by ANC students, alumni, postgraduate candidates, and several corporates of high repute. The 25 participating organizations, including MAS, Unilever, Virtusa, Dialog, Mobitel, Leo Burnette, NSB, WNS Global Services, and Brandix had the privileged access to a pool of talented candidates for internships and vacant positions/ future openings, whereas it was a great opportunity for ANC students and alumni to know what to expect from potential employers so that they can be better prepared to succeed in the right opportunity.

The career fair was followed by the networking event and the panel discussion, a dynamic conversation on stage that gave a new insight into redefining the corporate culture to attract and retain top millennial talent. It was an interesting unique experience for the audience as it was different from everyday discussions where the focus is only on hackneyed old topics such as thinking outside the box and negotiation skills. Mr Marcelline Alexandar, the Academic Head – Business Programmes moderated the panel composed of 4 professionals from top corporates: Mr. Sunesh Rodrigo, the renowned academic and corporate trainer attuned to global trends is the Deputy General Manager, Group Human Resources at MAS Holdings; Ms. Anoma De Silva, Director, Human Resources, APAC GHR Operations, Ansell, Sri Lanka; Mr. Harendra Samarasinghe, Director- Delivery, Healthcare & Lifesciences at Virtusa; Mr. Sanjeewa Bogodage, Deputy General Manager- Group Human Resources at Brandix Apperals Solution Ltd.
