MVRDV is currently engaged in an architectural project in Sri Lanka; M2M Veranda Offices. The firm sees the design as a model for future development of Colombo, as the country’s capital undergoes urbanization. It reflects Colombo’s contrasting nature as a city of old and new, offering attractive, light-filled offices with a lively commercial plinth.

MVRDV developed the scheme with local architects comprising of alumni of City School of Architecture, ACS Integrated and PWA Architects for the client Moot Manor. Its completion is slated for February 2019.

Also speaking at the event will be the project’s MEP Consultant, Sooraj Nair, an expert in the field of MEP design and construction management who is also involved in the project.

The lecture will precede a Q&A session followed by refreshments and fellowship. Admission to this event is free.
