Festival of Creativity kicks-off today at the Kingsbury Hotel
AMDT’s Festival of Creativity is set to inspire young budding talent and everyone who attends to be Creative, it is set to provide a platform for the Creative Industries to collaborate and engage to strengthen and transform Sri Lanka’s economy into a Creative Economy, thus creating a Creative country. This has been the Creative vision of AMDT since 2005.
Beginning today with the AMDT Showcase, a Creative arts exhibition fea- turing, Animation, Art, Fashion, Graphics, 3D, Motion Graphics, Films, Visual Effects, (VFX), Photography, Branding, UX, Games, Interactivity, etc. Open to the public freeof-charge, The AMDT Showcase runs from 9.00am to 7.00pm today (1st July).
In addition to the above, a series of talk- shows will be presented by some of the most influential and inspiring industry experts from around the world, out of which four will be held on the 1st.
Anthony Chelvanathan, Group Creative Director – Leo Burnett Toronto, Alyna Haji Omar, Chief Executive Officer – J.Walter Thompson Sri Lanka, Makshoodh Meerabaisu, Former Marketing Director – Unilever Sri Lanka as well as the crew from ‘Gajaman’ to name a few, are some of the inspiring speakers lined up for today. These Talk shows will get under way at 11.00am.
Throughout the coming week the Talk show series continues with speaking events planned on the 3rd, 4th, & 6th July all starting at 6.30pm at the Havelock City Club House.
One week from now on the 8th of July, get the first look at the Creative Fashion Artists at the ‘AMDT Fashion Show 2018’ at ‘ Festival of Creativity’ in Sri Lanka. Showcasing: Causal wear, Evening wear, Sportswear, Lingerie, Conceptual fashion and much more at The Park Street Mews.
