Melaka- Manipal offers a 5 year MBBS degree course with 2 ½ years ( 5 semesters) of pre- clinical studies in the Manipal Campus in India and 2½ years (5 semesters) of clinical training in the Melaka Campus in Malaysia and students are awarded the world- renowned MBBS degree of the Manipal University of India on successful completion of the two phases.

International Medical Campus ( IMC) has been appointed as the exclusive learning center in Sri Lanka and Maldives by Melaka- Manipal Medical College (MMMC) India/Malaysia to conduct their Foundation in Science (FIS) Program and its related exams and interviews.

The FIS program is accepted as a Fast Track option to enter Melaka- Manipal Medical College for attending its MBBS degree course, with a better preparation for medical studies. Nonetheless the FIS curriculum is embedded with a coaching program for London A/ L - Cambridge exams to achieve A/ L requirement laid down by the SLMC for future registration.

The program caters to the academic preparation of students in pre- medical and clinical sciences to achieve the eligibility level required for admission to the MMMC and successfully embark on undergraduate studies. It consists of teaching the basic subjects as Human Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics, Psychology, Pharmacology and Academic English.
