Saegis Campus’ Graduation Ceremony - 2018
Saegis Campus Graduation Ceremony for the year 2018 was held on 12th September at Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).
185students who completed their diploma and degreeprogramsof Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA) and Heriot Watt University-UK, received their awards from the dignitaries of the respectiveinstitutions, in the presence of the Honourable Ministerof Higher Education and Cultural Affairs, representatives of Saegis Campus’s newly affiliated University - CCCU (Canterbury Christ Church University),Mr. BandaraDissanayake, Chairman, SaegisCampus, Major General (Retd) MilindaPeiris, Chief Executive Officer, Members of the Governing Council and the staff of Saegis Campus. It was revealed from the speeches of the dignitaries that Saegis campus which has been approved bythe Ministry of Higher Education and Cultural Affairs to offer its own approved degree programmes. SaegisCampus continues to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate programmes while taking the lead in offering local and foreign programs that are directly relevant to both local and international job markets.

The ceremony also witnessed distribution of special achievement awards to students who performed exceptionally well intheir respective batches of the SQA HND programmes. They were recognized as SQA Ambassadors and High Achiever awards were presented to Anne Gayani Thiwanka Peiris, Hewage Bandu Sameera, Jayasingha PathiranageHeshani Kawmadi Jayathunge, Kongala Suddanadage Harendra Sugeeshwara Rathnayaka, Kurugamage Shehan Kosala Perera, Malaliyana Arachchilage Gimhani Dilusha, Mahagani Arachchige Udani Thakshila, Pussewela HewageSahan Rashmika Pussewela, Sadani Naweendra Senadheera and Tharushi Rangana Hettiarachchi.
