Obtain your pension on any day you wish through the Pan Asia Sammana Account

-

Pan Asia Sammana Account was introduced for all pensioners who have given their best years for the country and are now enjoying their life in retirement.

Nalaka Wijayawardana, Deputy General ManagerMarketing and Personal Banking shared with us about this saying that they realized that pensioners who have already served Sri Lanka, can still contribute towards economic development and these individuals can carry on their lives without being a burden.

Therefore the Sammana Pension Loan Scheme was introduced which enables a pensioner to divert his/her pension to Pan Asia Bank and obtain a loan of up to 2 million. The loan repayment period could be extended up to 10 years and does not require guarantors.

This has helped many pensioners earn an additional income through self- employment and they can contribute positively to the national economy.

There are also some who obtain this loan bear the cost of their children’s weddings and some utilize this loan scheme to go on pilgrimages. Also, they get an insurance cover along with the loan. Therefore, in an unfortunate event, rest of the family are not burdened with the repayment of the loan.

If a financial emergency arises between two pension payment dates most people find themselves in quite a difficult state. To help in emergencies like these, a facility was introduced by which an interest free pension advance may be obtained at a nominal fee. They could obtain an advance on their pension by visiting any branch of the bank. The maximum a person may borrow through this service is Rs. 30,000/- and the minimum is Rs 5000/-.

Government Pensioners under age of 70 with a monthly pension of Rs. 10,000/- or more may avail themselves the benefits by crediting their pension to a Pan Asia Bank Sammana account.

For more information customers can call the bank’s 24x7/365 customer contact center on 0114 667 222, or they can visit any Pan Asia Bank Branch to get more details.
