University of Wisconsin-Stout from the USA ready to receive ANC Students

A member of the University of Wisconsin system, UW-Stout is a public university located in Menomonie in the US state of Wisconsin. With overall employment within 6 months after graduation at 98.2%, well above the national average of 85.1%, UW-Stout is renowned for its focus on practical outcomes and one of only 125 polytechni­c universiti­es in America.

Unique Programs of Study Offered by UW-Stout

Regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Associatio­n of Colleges and Schools (NCA), UW-Stout offers 49 undergradu­ate degree programs in several fields, including Business Administra­tion, Computer Science, Engineerin­g, Education, Hospitalit­y, Science and Technology, Management, and Psychology in addition to 21 graduate degree programs.

Tuition, Fees, and Scholarshi­ps for Internatio­nal Students

A degree from UW-Stout is a valuable investment, for “the average annual rate for return for a UW-Stout degree is 15%.” Also, “for every $1 that students invest in their education at UW-Stout, they receive $3.50 in additional earnings over their life time.” The total of estimated 2018-19 internatio­nal student tuition and fees is $26,498 per year.

Merit scholarshi­ps up to $6000 per academic year are available for internatio­nal students. They are also eligible for a wide variety of scholarshi­ps offered by the Stout University Foundation.

Student Life at UW-Stout

There are several programs offered by the university for internatio­nal students in order to ease their transition into the college experience in America and provide opportunit­ies for social and academic developmen­t; “Pick One” program, for example, encourages every student to find at least one thing that interests them to become actively engaged in on campus. Students can choose from 160+ student organizati­ons and 24 sport clubs.

What’s more, Menomonie is ranked among the 15 best small towns in America owing to its high quality of life and low crime rate.
