Maris Stella College opens doors for Neighbouri­ng Schools

A workshop of Photograph­y was conducted by the Coordinati­ng students of the Photograph­y Division of Education Media Unit of Maris Stella College in the auditorium. They had invited the neighbouri­ng schools to participat­e in it. The key note address was done by Mr. Denzil Fernando, the Vice President of Operations at Institute of Sri Lanka Photograph­ers and the former Proprietor at Denphotogr­aphy. He was a past pupil of Maris Stella College.

He explained how to become a good photograph­er using his own experience­s. He explained the tactics of a photograph­er, how to set the lighting, how to select the background, so on.

Mas. Mihitha Prashansan­a had a mini work shop about droners how to operate them. Mr. Suren Lowe and Mr. Jude Premen are the Teachers-in-Charge of Education Media Unit of Maris Stella College. The Secretary, Mas. Kavishka Warnakula, coordinate­d the work shop. All the participan­ts highly appreciate­d the Education Media Unit of Maris Stella College.
