Janindu helps Ananda draw against DSS
Janindu Jayawardena and Kanishka Ranthilakage led Ananda’s recovery against DSS on day two in their Under 19 inter- school cricket encounter concluded at Ananda Mawatha yesterday.
The pair helped Ananda score 204 in reply DSS’s total of 196.
DSS batting the second time ended the day making 301 with Muditha Lakshan making a top score of 119. The match between St Mary’s Matugama and Kuliyapitiya played at Kuliyapitiya ended in a close first innings win for the Marians.
Kuliyapitiya Central in reply to their opponents’ score of 143 was bowled out for 136 runs.
