MMI’s Annual Art Exhibition finishes off in style

-

ANC- MMI is a member of the ANC Education Group and is a joint venture project between the ANC group and MMI Singapore. MMI Sri Lanka had their Annual Art Exhibition on the 9th of November 2018 at the JDA Perera gallery, Colombo.

An opening ceremony was held under the patronage of our Chief Guest Ms. Thaji Dias, of the Chitrasena Dance School, and

Mrs. Aruni Mahipala Director and chief operations officer, ANC Education, special invitees and parents.

Our students had the opportunity to display their creativity along with the dedicated efforts of the teachers. Creativity is the best form of self- expression. There is nothing more satisfying and fulfilling for children than to be able to express themselves openly without judgment. Our students enjoyed themselves creating simple prints and patterns as our goal for our students was to make them feel comfortable. Our aim was to encourage every student to participate while developing their fine motor skills.

The School also has extended their service to charity with the support of the parents and all proceeds were entirely donated to the SOS village in Colombo Sri Lanka. We were overwhelmed with the generous contributions made by all the delighted parents as well as other visitors. The intention of the school is to make a world of difference to these young children who are in need of love, care and help!
