Triton emerge worthy champions

The annual Inter-House Athletic Meet of Wycherley International School was held on November 21 at the NCC Grounds.

The Junior and Senior Championship Trophies for individual events were awarded to Pegasus and Triton Houses respectively. The C.T.A Schafter Challenge Trophy for the Best Performing House was awarded to Triton House, who ended up with a final tally of 316 points.

The Best Performance Award in the Girls category went to Tharindi Mendis of Athena House for her achievement of 4.13m in Long Jump. Shuhail Mushtaq of Triton House was the Best Performer among Boys. He emerged the winner in the 100m event with a timing of 11.86 seconds. Apollo and Pegasus Houses tied for the Junior Relay Championship Trophy while the Senior Relay Championship Trophy went to Athena House.

Despite being an Inter-House competition all four Houses – Apollo, Athena, Pegasus, Triton, had a harmonious relationship.
