Mamma Mia: Some interesting tidbits

It’s two weeks to the much awaited West End production of MAMMA MIA! and Colombo’s entertainment sphere couldn’t get more exciting!

Eranga Mendis, an ardent fan of ABBA and Queen has found a series of very interesting coincidences.

Did you know that ABBA’s Mamma Mia pushed Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody off the number one spot in the UK in 1975? That the words “Mamma Mia” are repeated in the line “Oh Mamma Mia, Mamma Mia, Mamma Mia, Let me go” in Bohemian Rhapsody Coincidentally, the movie Bohemian Rhapsody is currently showing in Sri Lanka With MAMMA MIA due to begin its ten-day run in Colombo on December 22, some of the best of British entertainment is in Colombo during this festive month. MAMMA MIA! will run from December 22-30 at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre.
