Gihan Cooray appointed Chairman of Nations Trust Bank

PLC has announced the appointment of Gihan Cooray as Chairman of the Board of Directors, with effect f rom December 1st 2018.
Cooray takes over as Chairman following the ret i rement of Krishan Balendra who stepped down after having served the stipulated maximum 9 year tenure as a Director of Nations Trust Bank PLC.
Cooray is the Group Finance Director of John Keells Holdings PLC and has overall responsibility for the Group’s Finance and Accounting, Taxation, Corporate Finance & Strategy, Treasury & Information Technology functions (including John Keells IT) and John Keells Research. He is also a Director of several other companies in the John Keells Group.
