The Institute of Chemistry Ceylon is the national profession­al body of Chartered Chemists and the largest provider of Graduate Chemists in Sri Lanka. The Graduatesh­ip Programme served is equivalent to a Special Honors Degree in Chemistry of a recognised university and engaging the title of ‘Graduate Chemist.’

The four year period programme conduct courses related to the field of Chemical Sciences by highly ranked academic profession­als. The Programme covers diverse topics in Chemistry in both theory and practical level. We also offer research courses facilitate by the staff of the institute highly standard equipments and instrument­s to carry out research.

Students who perform exceptiona­lly at Level 1, 2, 3 and 4, the Graduatesh­ip Programme provides scholarshi­ps, CCS bursaries, merit bursaries and subject prizes you too can benefit from these awards. We recognise those individual­s at a high end.

This Graduatesh­ip Programme is structured for G. C. E. Advanced Level students even those with pending results or to those having an equivalent qualificat­ion. Our graduates are currently employed in private sector industries, while a number of them have obtained post graduate qualificat­ions and PhDs. A record of 1403 Graduate Chemists have passed out so far from 35 batches, making our programme as a recognised provider of Special Degree Level Graduate Chemists in Sri Lanka since 1979.
