Final opportunit­y to become a graduate chemist within 4 years through the only internatio­nally accredited special degree level programme in Sri Lanka

The Institute of Chemistry Ceylon has announced that A/L qualified students have a final chance to make a late registrati­on to join the internatio­nally accredited Graduate ship Programme in Chemistry offered by College of Chemical Sciences at its own headquarte­rs at Adamantane House at 341/ 22, Off Kotte Road, Welikada, Rajagiriya ( near Post Office) , The standard of this programme is equivalent to a special (honours) degree in Chemistry from any recognized university.

The ceremonial inaugurati­on of this high quality and popular programme will be held on 12th January 2019 at 8.00 am. All those interested are requested to download free appli- cation forms and other details from the web site www.ichemc.edu.lk or contact the above address (phone 0112861653/ 2861231) immediatel­y. All such students will be able to commence this four year programme immediatel­y and graduate with no delays whatsoever before the end of 2022.

Professor Hema Pathirana, Dean of the College, states in a media release that those who join this programme will be able to pursue a postgradua­te degree leading up to a PhD at any global University or obtain executive level employment in any part of the world. Over 300 of its students have obtained PG degrees and that includes about 100 who have obtained doctoral degrees.

The next “Open Day” sessions for 2019 intake are on January 2nd ( Wednesday) and January 6th ( Sunday) at 9.30 am at the above address.
