Lions Club Modera: 44 years of service

The 44th Charter Celebrations of the Lions Club of Modera, Mattakkuliya were held on February 16 at the Grand Oriental Hotel, Colombo 1, with Governor of District 306B1, Lion Deva Peter as Chief Guest and Past International Director Lion Sunil Watawala as guest of honour.

The meeting was chaired by Lady Lion Priyanthi Perera.

For the past 44 years Lions of Modera Mattakkuliya have created a “we serve” environment by extending a hand to the needy people in the community, President Lion Suren Jacob said in his speech, elaborating on the service projects of the club.
