New Chairman of People’s Bank, Nissanka Nanayakkara, PC assumes duties

The newly appointed Chairman of People’s Bank, Nissanka Nanayakkara, President’s Counsel, assumed duties at the Head office of People’s Bank on February 28, 2019.

Nanayakkara, PC functions as the Legal Secretary of the United National Party and is also a member of the UNP Working committee.

He is also the Chairman of Litro Gas Lanka Limited.

Hon Eran Wickramaratne-State Minister of Finance, S M Marikkar-MP, Hesha Vithanage-MP, Ronald C Perera, Chairman Bank of Ceylon, N Vasantha Kumar, CEO/GM of People’s Bank and Rohan Pathirage, Senior Deputy General Manager/Secretary to the Board of Directors were also present at this occasion among a large gathering.
