Scope Cinemas recently announced the launch of a new Dolby Atmos enabled screen for movie enthusiast­s, making it the first Dolby Atmos screen to be launched in Sri Lanka.

Dolby Atmos, the award- winning Dolby sound technology, is known to offer an immersive audio experience for cinema-goers.

Moviegoers can now experience cutting-edge audio at any Dolby Atmos screen at Scope cinemas.

Naveen Cader, Chairman Scope Cinemas, was quoted as saying “We are extremely excited to be the first exhibitor in Sri Lanka to introduce Dolby Atmos. The immersive sound technology helps us differenti­ate our offering and we are committed to bring in the best-in-class experience­s to our audiences. Commenting on the announceme­nt, Mr. Thushan Rangana, CEO Scope Cinemas, was quoted as saying “The launch of the new screen marks a significan­t milestone for us as we bring one of the most innovative cinema technologi­es to our patrons. We are confident that the immersive audio experience of Dolby Atmos will prove to be a unique attraction for movie-goers in Colombo.”
