Remains lie at 101, Dehiwala Road, Boralesgamuwa. Funeral Service at the residence at 3.00 pm on Sunday, 5th May. Thereafter Cortege leaves residence at 4.00 pm. Burial at the General Cemetery – Kanatta (Anglican Section) at 5.00 pm.

NIKAPOTA – DR (MRS) ANULA DAMAYANTHI. Beloved wife of Dr. Vijita Nikapota (UK), loving mother of Damita, Sharmila (UK) and Ashok (UK), daughter of late Bernard Aluwihare MP and Dr Florence Ram Aluwihare, sister of Prof Arjuna Aluwihare, passed away in Sweden on the 5th of April 2019. A celebration of her life took place on the 2nd of May 2019 in Abbots Langley, Watford, UK, and will be followed by one to be held in Sri Lanka for friends and relatives, later this year. Youngest son of late Mr. & Mrs. Subramaniam Sivapalan (former MP, Trincomalee) and Bagawathy, son-in-law of late Mr. & Mrs. Thamodarampillai Yukaretnam & Ranganayaki of Trincomalee, beloved husband of Vasanthakumari, loving father of Ramya & Ganatheepan, loving father-inlaw of Ravindran Muttucomaroe, adored grandfather of Rakshikaa & Raghevratna, loving brother of late Sivarajan ( Probation Officer, Trincomalee), Dr. Mrs. Vimaladevi Satchuthananthavale ( Retired Plant Pathologist, RRIC), late Sunthararajan ( Consultant Engineer), l at e Sriskandarajan (Educator, Trincomalee) & Dr. S. Varatharajan ( Retired Consultant Anaesthetist), brother-in-law of Retnakumar & Yogarani, late Sarathadevi, late Sothimalar, late Dr. Satchuthananthavale, Indiralojani, late Gnanamanohari, Thadchayani, passed away peacefully on 30th April 2019. Remains lie at A. F. Raymond, Borella, from Saturday 4th May (9am-4pm) & Sunday 5th May (9am onwards).
