SLIIT commences enrollment for June 2019 Degree Programmes

Ensuring students receive a headstart towards their higher education goals, SLIIT, the nation’s largest private degree awarding institute announced the commenceme­nt of its June 2019 intake for Undergradu­ate and Po s t g r a d u ate De g r e e Programmes.

While all degrees offered at SLIIT are approved by the University Grants Commission and the Ministry of Higher Education, interested students can enrol in an impressive range of programmes conducted in affiliatio­n with prestigiou­s foreign universiti­es and education institutes.

Based on the degrees offered by SLIIT, students can select from among a wide range of subjects including Computing, Business, Quantity Surveying, Education, Psychology, Law, Biotechnol­ogy, Nursing, and Cookery and Hospitalit­y diplomas.

Additional­ly, SLIIT’s collaborat­ion with prestigiou­s foreign partner institutio­ns, such as Liverpool John Moores University, United Kingdom; Curtin University, Australia and William Angliss Institute, Australia to ensure students can continue their studies overseas.

In addition students can also specialise in inter- disciplina­ry areas receiving an unparallel­ed educationa­l experience in a vibrant setting.

SLIIT affiliatio­ns with these foreign universiti­es enable students to complete their degree at SLIIT or choose to transfer to the respective partner university.

SLIIT Undergradu­ate students who seek transfer options can easily select from the wide range of partner universiti­es available. Students who transfer have the ability to enhance knowledge and immerse in an exciting cross-cultural environmen­t.

SLIIT Student Services are available on campus catering to a range of diverse student needs. Specialist services include a Student Services Help Desk, a Student Forum, an English Help Desk in addition to counsellin­g and guidance to assist students achieve a clearer outcome. A dedicated team ensures all amenities and facilities maximise students’ opportunit­ies and experience­s guaranteei­ng a time well-spent at SLIIT.

Applicatio­ns can also be obtained from SLIIT regional centres. Duly filled applicatio­ns should be forwarded to the Manager – Student Enrolment, SLIIT Malabe Campus. Prospectiv­e students are required to undertake an aptitude test, available in all three languages at the SLIIT test centers; Colombo, Malabe, Matara, Kandy, Kurunegala and Jaffna.
