CA Sri Lanka Business & Corporate Level students excel at June 2019 exam

The Institute of Chartered Accountant­s of Sri Lanka ( CA Sri Lanka), recently awarded certificat­es to eight aspiring Chartered Accountant­s who excelled at the Business & Corporate Level exam in June 2019.

Business Level student Ruhan Ranajitha was adjudged First in Order of Merit Prize, while five other students won subject prizes for the Business Level and two students won subject prizes for Corporate Level.

The certificat­e awards ceremony was held under the patronage of CA Sri Lanka President Mr. Jagath Perera and Vice President Mr. Manil Jayesinghe. Council Member Mr. Dulitha Perera, CEO Ms. Dulani Fernando and Secretary Mr. Prasanna Liyanage were also present at the event.

Students with a minimum of 3 simple passes at the GCE Advanced Level exam can register for the CA Sri Lanka programme in Chartered Accounting, which is also recognised internatio­nally and has been compared to a Master’s Degree standard according to the National Academic Recognitio­n Informatio­n Centre (NARIC) of United Kingdom. The CA programme also offers two early exit routes, apart from its benchmark qualificat­ion as an Associate Chartered Accountant.
