Bristol Institute succeeds in launching highly rated UK MBA in Sri Lanka

-

Bristol Institute of Business Management (Pvt) Ltd (BIBM est. 2018) was founded on the vision of a group of likeminded academics and professionals, set out to capture the tertiary higher educational market with these fundamental principles; simply, to launch the most affordable, flexible, high quality and highest ranked UK Postgraduate portfolio in the country. It did this by combining three key ingredients, that paved the way for success in the already highly competitive Higher Educational landscape that is Sri-Lanka.

The first step was partnering with the University of the West of England(UWE), Bristol, a prestigious UK University keen to expand their Management Faculty representation in

Madhusha Dep

the nation.

In doing so, UWE, Bristol, 28th in the Guardian League Table for UK Universities became the highest ranked MBA from the UK offered in Sri Lanka.

The second was building a team of experienced lecturers that possess the ideal balance of academic and professional acumen along with top level industry experience to deliver an unparalleled, modern and inspirational learning experience for students on the programme. This highly respected faculty are able to bring real world application and context to the theory built into the syllabus.

The third, was launching a competitive and academically rigorous 12 month postgraduate platform, that allowed students multiple modes of delivery to choose from, giving ultimate flexibility whilst retaining high quality educational provision, strictly adhering to the standard delivery protocols approved in the UK. This, coupled with a staff that prides itself on excellent student support and after class services, meant that BIBM has become one of the most attractive UK MBAs in the country, with arguably the best modern postgraduate learning environment.

One of the key features was the introduction of Block Mode delivery, which provides BIBM students the opportunity to attend face to face classes as a full time MBA student for one weekend every 4 weeks. So successful has this delivery option been, that it has opened up opportunities for people on roster to attend lectures from overseas, and do so regularly on a monthly basis.

All of these factors have led to BIBM being one of the few institutes that have recorded full batches since their inception. Commenting on the success of the UWE, Bristol MBA and BIBM recruiting their third Batch, Chief Operating Officer Mr.Dilshad Jiffry had this to say, “BIBM owes its success to the faith and trust of its students. Students who have decided to put their trust in us and the promise of quality we try to emulate under the UWE, Bristol banner.

This trust has only served to further our resolve to be the provider of the Highest Ranked MBA in the country, a has furthered our commitment to providing our students with the best Postgraduate learning experience in the nation as well.” BIBM will be looking to launch their January 2020 intake on a grander scale owing to the success of its previous 3 batches.

Prospective students are welcome to visit the campus at No. 7, Walukarama Road, Colombo 03 or inquire about our programmes on 0777907711 or 0777907755.
