SLT partners with Kaspersky Lab to provide Cyber Security

Sri Lanka Telecom PLC recently joined hands with South Asian Technologi­es Pvt Ltd (SAT), sole distributo­r for Kaspersky in Sri Lanka, to provide seamless cyber security to its clientele across the country.

SLT customers now have the opportunit­y of purchasing - Kaspersky Internet Security, Kaspersky Total Security, Kaspersky Internet Security for Android and Kaspersky Safe Kids, at a nominal monthly subscripti­on added to SLT bill, the telco said in a media release.

As a part of an introducto­ry of fer, all customers are entitled to a one-month’s free subscripti­on at the time of purchase.

SLT CEO Kiththi Perera said, “Our main objective has always been to provide seamless connectivi­ty via informatio­n and telecommun­ications services and products that drive the digital culture in Sri Lanka. Our partnershi­p with SAT allows for a deeper penetratio­n among users and allows them to protect themselves against cyber threats. We are deeply committed to supporting our valued customer base by providing total communicat­ions solutions”.

CEO of South Asian Technologi­es Pvt Ltd Sanjaya Padmaperum­a said: “We are very pleased to have reached this agreement with our national telecommun­ications provider in the distributi­on of Kaspersky to all its users. With the number of Internet users rapidly increasing on a daily basis, we believe Kaspersky will provide the necessary solutions re q u i red to successful­ly combat internet security risks”.
