Don’t miss this ultimate Elton John experience

-

DK Promotions’ ‘Elton John Experience’ hits the stage on Sunday, November 3 at the BMICH main hall at 7 p.m. with Greg Andrew considered as the best Elton John impersonator both in terms of looks and voice. Greg Andrew has performed in over 30 countries to over 200,000 fans and will be accompanied by his fourpiece band.

From the moment Greg appears on stage, his likeness to Elton John leaves audiences believing that he could be the man himself. Adding to this his virtuoso piano playing skills, vocal timbre and showmanship, his show is considered the ultimate Elton John experience.

This show takes you on a musical journey that showcases Elton’s major hits over a 40-year period. Expect to hear ‘Candle in the Wind’, ‘Sacrifice’, ‘Nikita’, ‘Crocodile Rock’, ‘Daniel’, ‘Can you feel the love tonight’, ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’, ‘Your Song’, ‘I am still standing’ and more.

Greg Andrew started playing classical piano at the age of 11 and graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 1989. Over the next 20 years, Greg built a professional career in the music industry, travelling extensively throughout Australia, performing as a piano vocalist in premier hotels, resorts and casinos.

In addition to Greg’s virtuosic piano playing and vocal timbre, he has always been “referenced” as Elton by the public because of his uncanny natural resemblance to Sir Elton John. In 2010 The Elton John Experience was born and Greg now tours with the show internationally.

His invitation to perform at TRIBFEST 2017 in the UK, (recognised as the largest and most prestigious tribute festival in the world) is testiment to his unique ability. Greg is the first Elton John tribute artist to get an invitation to perform - a huge accolade.

Tickets for the show are on sale at DK Promotions Music Store, 3rd floor, Majestic City and online at www.tickets.lk
