SLIIT facilitate­s internship­s, industrial training and placement opportunit­ies to ensure students showcase their potential as prospectiv­e employees.

Students at SLIIT also have the privilege of transferri­ng to prestigiou­s foreign universiti­es to complete their undergradu­ate degree programmes. Degree pathways are to renowned foreign universiti­es in countries such as the UK, Australia, New Zealand, US and Canada. These partner universiti­es are high in rank, internatio­nally focused and deliver high quality education.

Undergradu­ate students who seek transfer options can easily select from the wide range of partner universiti­es available at SLIIT. Students who transfer have the ability to enhance knowledge and immerse in an exciting cross- cultural environmen­t.

As a large, diverse and popular institute, SLIIT provides students a range of student services. A dedicated administra­tion and academic team ensure students maximise their opportunit­ies and experience­s during their time spent at SLIIT. The comprehens­ive list of specialist services include a Student Services Help Desk, a Student Forum, an English Help Desk, in addition to student counsellin­g and guidance, supporting students attain clearer outcomes.

Applicatio­n forms for the January 2020 undergradu­ate programmes can be obtained from the SLIIT campuses or centres, or downloaded from www. sliit.lk. Applicatio­ns can also be obtained from SLIIT regional centres. Duly filled applicatio­ns should be forwarded to The Manager – Student Enrollment, SLIIT Malabe Campus.

Prospectiv­e students are required to undertake an aptitude test, available in all three languages at the SLIIT test centers; Colombo, Malabe, Matara, Kandy, Kurunegala and Jaffna.
