Koddakaddiyakulam MV dominate
St. Mary's College Hatton, Ginigathhena Primary School and Koddakaddiyakulam Maha Vidyalaya, Thunukkai came on top among 72 schools to win the three categories of the Nestle All-Island Kids Athletics finals of Grade 3 segment held at the Jayathilake Stadium in Nawalapitiya.
St. Mary's topped the Boys' segment ahead of Dharmaraja College Kandy and Ankumbura Primary
School while Ginigathhena Primary School finished on top of the Girls segment ahead of Algama Medagama Vidyalaya Kegalle and
Angumbura Primary School
Koddakaddiyakulam Maha Vidyalaya, Thunukkai dominated the Mixed School segment in which Rathwatte
Tamil Vidyalaya Matale and Wijayasuriya Vidyalaya Embilipitiya followed in at second and third.
A total 2592 students from 72 schools participated. Daya Bandara, the Director Sports of Minister of Education graced the occasion as the chief guest.
