Eminem releases new album

Eminem took his fans by surprise with the release of his new album ‘Music To Be Murdered’ on 17th January. The album name shares the same title with film director Sir Alfred Hitchcock’s 1958 album release. The Hitchcock inspired album is a follow up to his 2017 release ‘Kamikaze’. Eminem’s new album hit a sour note too over the song ‘Unaccommodating’ which has references to the 2017 Arianna Grande Manchester Arena bombing in which 22 people died, Saddam Hussein’s reference to 9/11 and the mysterious death of child beauty queen Jonbenet Ramsay in 1996. Meanwhile as several of the new album tracks are streaming, one song in particular ‘Godzilla’ featuring the late Juice WRLD is challenging Stormzy’s ‘Own It’ for the No: 1 spot on the UK chart.
