Vidura College Kalutara celebrates 3rd year anniversary on 21st February 2020

The Third year Anniversary of Vidura College Kalutara was celebrated on 21st February 2020.

Among many events organised in the school to commemorate this special day, opening up a shrine room and alms giving were very significant events.

Mr.D.G.Sumanasekara Managing Director and Group Principal of Vidura College, Director and Consultant Mr.Saradha Sumansekara , Principal Kalutara branch Mrs. Kanchana Dassanayake, Assistant Head Mistress Mrs.Gayana Jayasekara many distinguished guests, teachers, parents and many students took part in this meritorious events.

Proceeding in the Buddhist path the school organises the religious events with the mere expectation of invoking blessings to her students wishing them a successful journey in the field of education.

Having realised the influence of religion and positive impact on them throughout their lives, the school organises religious activities of this nature very often. Religion gives students valuable insight for their own personal development and supports and understands of these spiritual moral, social and cultural questions that surface again and again in their lives.

Vidura College Kalutara has achieved a phenomenal growth over last three years and has carved a niche in the general education sector in Sri Lanka as one of the best national school in the country. It has recorded this growth from its humble beginning in 2017. The achievement of students keep growing steadily in every field such as academic, co-curricular and sports with high command of discipline, there by highlighting the model of education that Vidura College provides to our Sri Lankan society.
