His latest Song is composed and Directed by Lady Monarkey and she is a producer from CANADA who runs her own record label called MUSIQMATCH records. Yashan is the lyricist of new song ‘Love Is in the Air’ and also the rap artiste of the song and his wife Kenya features with the vocals for the Sinhala chorus of the song.

‘Love Is in the Air’ audio and video of the song will be released worldwide on all digital platforms on Saturday, 7th March, 2020.

Yashan explained about his new venture to TV Times and about his new World Oder

Well this song is all about love. In fact it’s about the power of love which can heal broken hearts, which can bring smiles to people, which can make this world a better place. Because I believe the ultimately love is the best religion this whole world. Even God says that ‘God Is Love’ and if anyone is not showing love to people means he doesn’t know GOD. Help and care with compassion and that’s the main message

I’m trying to deliver through this song.

As I mentioned, it also relates to the word ‘Love’. We need to love our motherland. Love by showing respect, loving people without being racist, and protect the environment for a better future. If we do good things it will always come back to protect and save us.

It’s a different reason than you can ever imagine. I think it is very private but spiritual. When I was praying in 2017, God spoke to me clearly and he wanted me to do a peace song and he promised me that he will guide and provide me with everything that I need for it. He wanted to use me to pass a message through my music and here I am today with a meaningful song

for you.

Monarkey is a very easy person to work with. She is the best composer, I ever worked with. I mean even though we represent two different countries and two different styles, she managed to figure my musical strength so well and understand my ideas. So it wasn’t hard, but it was always cool, fun and exciting to work with her.

We filmed it in five different locations for about five days. In Negombo, Moratuwa, Bambalapitiya, Colombo Fort and Panadura. We wanted to film a scene with train, so I, my wife and my video production crew were travelling towards Colombo Fort via Marine drive, I suddenly asked them to stop at Bamabalapitiya and I briefed them my concept. We fixed our equipment and Wow! Unexpectedly 4 trains have passed by within ten to fifteen minutes and it created a great backdrop for that sequence.

Shout out to my wife Kenya. That was her debut single and she did amazingly she did well. Music video was filmed by ‘DIGITAL EYE STUDIOS’. The video was produced by Gamini Chamara and I Directed the visual sequences for the song. Edited by Upul Chandana. Outfits were done by Namal Balachandra, while all makeup was handled by Ruchira Liyanagamage and hair by Dhanushka of ‘Salon Liyo’.
