Roshen, Madushka tons propel Ragama CC

Sri Lanka Test cap Roshen Silva and Nishan Madushka struck centuries for Ragama CC against Lankan CC on the second day of the Premier League Tournament Tier A match played at NCC grounds yesterday.

Silva's 165 runs helped Ragama CC reach 417-6 in reply to Lankan CC's total of 205 and gain a lead of 212 runs. He came in at 84-4 and partnered with Madushka to form a stand of 296 runs for the fifth wicket. Silva faced 247 deliveries and hit 18 fours, while Madushka too struck an equally good knock of 154 in 176 balls, with 15 fours and three sixes.

In other games Army SC, Chilaw Marians CCC, BRC and NCC were in control against their respective opponents. The matches will continue today.
