BTS Fans raise donations for those affected by the coronavirus

F ans of South Korea’s biggest pop export BTS have raised over $333,000 in donations for those affected by the coronavirus in the country which has seen many deaths. The boyband BTS was forced to cancel their tour of the homeland owing to the outbreak of the coronavirus on 27th February.

Reports from the country say the group’s fans opted to donate the tour ticket fee instead of refunds. The money is being channelled through the Korean Disaster Relief Association. BTS released their album ‘Map Of The Soul:7’ which topped the charts in seven countries.
